On Elin Pelin Street on a warm September evening I enjoyed dinner with friends at Pod Lipite Restaurant (Under the Lime Trees).

Bulgarian grill at Pod Lipite Restaurant in Sofia is delicious.

Our friends from Arizona came to visit and we invited them to dinner.

Lunch with Adam and his mother at Bademovata Kashta (The Almond House) Restaurant in Pancharevo, a suburb of Sofia.

Shopska salad and tarator are common on the Bulgarian menu lists.

In early September I attended a book launch at Helikon Bookstore. Kapka Kassabova's latest book - A Street Without a Name, was presented and I talked to the author.

Dad is visiting.

At a cocktail party with the US Ambassador to Sofia, and American and Bulgarian Fulbrighters.
